On the first of May 1993, renowned landscape photographer David Paterson set out from Fort William to walk a route that has since developed into the Cape Wrath Trail.
His seminal book The Cape Wrath Trail: A New 200-mile Walking Route Through the North-west Scottish Highlands, did more than most to cement this superlative expedition in the public consciousness.
The book established many of the aspects of the Cape Wrath Trail that survive to this day and provided a template for all that followed, myself included.
All of this is why I'm particularly delighted to be able to offer a number of David's celebrated images as limited edition prints via this site.
Perfect as a memento of an expedition (or a reminder to train harder!)
About the prints
